A Wolf in Sheep’s Clothing?
Surprisingly, our patch testing has identified cinnamon as a cause of IBS symptoms in a number of people recently. The data we’re collecting shows it’s almost as common as garlic in causing these symptoms. Like garlic, it’s in tons of foods–desserts, chewing gum, cola, many ethnic food, and toothpaste (ok, toothpaste isn’t a food but you could still swallow some!).
