Garlic may be your enemy! Our clinical study and testing since then show garlic to be the #1 food causing IBS symptoms, and it’s in everything! We view garlic as the “next gluten” in terms of the gastrointestinal distress it’s causing. If you suffer from IBS, take this challenge: AVOID GARLIC FOR 1 WEEK and see how you feel. Cook without it at home, avoid anything labeled with garlic, “natural flavors” or “spices” and tell your server you have a garlic allergy when out to dinner.
